Who’s easiest to love?
A friend noticed that sometimes loving the poor and oppressed, is easier than loving a roommate or a family member.

She’s not alone in her struggle to love those closest to her.
I think this happens because we automatically assume the poor don’t owe us anything. We give not expecting anything in return.
We somehow think that, because of the nature of the relationship with a roommate, coworker, or family member, that they owe us something. They owe it to us to love us (be kind to us) in return.
What if….we loved everyone under the assumption that they owed us nothing?
